Happy Birthday Dave!!!!

Happy birthday Big Dave, you're a whole year older....yeah.... At any rate I've updated my site just a bit. I finally put my pics of L.A. up. I also added a few other pics. I had some other things that I wanted to write about, but now it's late and I can't think of any of them. This weekend ought to be fun. Dave, and I are driving to good ole' Chicago. His audition should go quite smoothly. It will be fun.

Should Be Studying...

Everything is going pretty peachy for me right now. It has been a rather pleasent month or so. I've had a lot of fun things come up here recently. I was in L.A. not a couple of weeks ago with the choir, and next weekend I'll be going with Dave to Chicago. That promises to be a fun trip. I enjoy trips, and I love a good road trip.
Well, I'm getting a bit old for it, but I put a new cd player and subwoofers in my car this weekend. I'm such a nerd. I can't help it. I've been going through all of my old bass cd's that I listened to when I drove the grand prix. I had subs in that car, and I thought that they where probably the last subs I'd ever put in on of my cars. Leah surprised me and got them for me for Christmas. She then got me a cd player for my birthday. I guess I'll probably have to get her something cool for her birthday now. Her birtday is March 20. I really need to get some of my L.A. pics up on my site soon. I'm just such a lazy bum sometimes. Of couse it does take quite a while to make all of the pics small and then upload them to the site. I have not had to go to the air base at all this month, and it's been great. I'm not going to say bad things about the air guard tonight, but it sure is going to be great in 2007 when I can get out. It's helped me become more disciplined, and it's definately been a big help financially. Well I've got to quite procastinating and finish studying.

Lot's of stuff

It's been quite some time since I've last written. (almost a month) So much has been going on. Some of it's been good, some of it's been not so good. Let's start with my birthday. I turned 26 in Jan. I had a really good birthday. Leah, got me a cool new cd player for my car. I also went to my parents' house and they made me some mexican chicken and a nice cake. It was grovey. Now in to some of the bad stuff. My uncle passed away. I wasn't super close to him, but he was a good man and my family will really miss him. He was my father's older brother. It's kind of crazy. I don't have any grandparents left and that was my dad's only living sibling. It just reminds me of how precious life is, and how quickly it passes. I'll miss Uncle Earl.
The choir got back from our trip to L.A. We went down for the A.C.D.A. convention. We where asked to sing for them. We did quite a few difficult pieces. It was a very gratifiying experience. I've been to New York before, so I've expereinced some of the big city life, but it was quite a bit different in L.A. It was a cleaner city than I expected. I was also impressed with their mass transit system. Subways are really efficent, even though you have to be packed in so close to everyone. Also I was impressed that pretty much everyone I bumped into was nice. I had a great time. I'll be posting some pics up soon. I may even write a little more about it. I just wanted to get some of my thoughts down. Goodnight all.
