Packing a lot of fun in a small amount of time

Vacation officially starts on Sunday. It is going to be a good time. Mandy, Leah, and I are going to Texas. We will be going to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels while we are there. A little bit about what I've been up to of late. Basically I've just been working and playing. I've really gotten into mountain biking here lately. My dad was nice enough to let me borrow one of his bikes and I've bet I've put about 40 miles on the thing. Something amusing about that is the fact that I've been pulled over by the cops twice now and spotlighted once. I've mainly been riding around in my neighborhood, and the police have been patrolling because there have been some breaking in the neighborhood. I went up to Cadron Settlement park today. I went riding and had a ton of fun. I only fell once so I was happy. Oh, I've got a new toy on the way. I've been really wanting a portable music player to listen to when I work out or ride on the bike, so I ordered a mp3 player off of E-bay. E-bay rocks. I've sold several things on e-bay now, but it was my first time to actually by something from there. If you know what you're looking for you can really get some good deals. That's about enough for one night.

Friday

Summer has almost past us all by. I had a good couple of days off. I went to UCA today and attempted to get everything in order for next sememster. I've had my classes in order since last semester, I was just trying to get financial aid in order. I still need to do grade forgivness. The bookstore doesn't have the fall's supply of books in just yet. I was trying to go price them. I also need to learn if UCA is giving me back my choir scholarship. I really hope that they do. If they don't I don't think I'm going to be in any music ensembles. I'll just work and do homework. Some of the boring things that I've been doing over the past two days include washing my car, watering the grass and mowing the yard. My house is presently in quite a disfigured state. The carpet center guys came over to redo all of my vinal flooring. They got all of the old stuff up, and are having to wait for the mositure level of the concrete to dry. So presently I have no flooring. Hopefully they will be able to put the new stuff down by Friday. Well I'm pretty nervous about the supreme court at the moment. I am very liberal as most people know, but I really like for our government to be balanced. Ideally we would have a fifty, fifty balance of conservatives and liberals so either side doesn't pass anything crazy. At any rate it is looking more like there is going to be two vacancies on the supreme court. That makes me nervous because before the supreme court was more or less balanced. If two vacancies happen it would be an opportunity for Bush to put in two ultra conservatives. That is scary. If you have a bad president, like we do now the people have the ability to kick his but out of office in 4 years. If you have an ultra conservative supreme court, you would basically just have to wait 20-30 years for someone to retire. Alas, only time will tell. Oh yes I almost forgot Blah.

Days wafting by.

I had quite a busy weekend. We did a garage sale this weekend that went quite well. We sold lot's o stuff, but we sacrificed sleep. After the garage sale on Friday and Saturday we went to Wolly Hollow state park to visit my sister-in-law Kelli and her crew. We had a fun but I'm quite sleepy. The nice thing though is that I was off for two days, I'm working for two days and then I have two more days off. Oh, by the way we had our phone disconnected. We will probably be getting a cell phone soon so just hang in there. If you really need to get a hold of us you can e-mail us. Of course if you are parent type people you could always just drop by. I've almost forgotten what my parents look like. Not much else is going on a the moment. I've gotten back into doing e-bay. It's going pretty well. I sold my old car CD player and made more than I expcected. In other late breaking news I purchased a new piano book. I'm having fun plucking through it and trying to make it sound nice. Well, it is about time I go do the sleep thing. Work is going to get here early tomorrow. Goodnight.
